Please note: You must be enrolled in a dance education and/or connected to Erasmus +, throughout the entire length of the apprenticeship. No exceptions given.

Norrdans, the international dance company based in Northern Sweden, is looking for apprentice dancers to join our ensemble for the 24/25 season.  We present contemporary dance and choreography in the north of Sweden, nationally and internationally. 

We are looking for dance students who can combine contemporary dance and improvisation techniques with performance skills and strong musicality.  You should also have an interest in diverse choreographic processes.

The apprenticeship period is from 05.08.2024 to June 2025.

Norrdans ensemble includes two apprentice dancers per season. The apprenticeship gives a deep insight in to one of europes most unique repertoire companies. We offer a pronounced place to develop as a dance artist with great performance opportunities and in-depth creation processes.

During the apprenticeship, you will be involved in creations by Kristine Ryg Helgebostad and Norrdans’ artistic director Martin Forsberg. You might also be involved in repertoire by Liz Kinoshita, James Batchelor, Janina Rajakangas, Philip Berlin, Sigrid Stigsdatter and Ingrid Berger Myhre.

Norrdans’ offers

-85 000 SEK for the full apprenticeship

-Free housing in a shared apartment
