As of season 2024/25 TANZ_KASSEL, the Contemporary Dance Company at Staats
theater Kassel (GER), is looking for versatile CONTEMPORARY DANCERS (all genders)
with a minimum of two years professional experience in full time contracts with solid
ballet and excellent contemporary technique, creative acting and improvisational skills
and the willingness to adapt to different choreographic styles and methods of creating.
We value team players who contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
With its dance director, Thorsten Teubl, TANZ_KASSEL has been newly formed and is
working with a curatorial model that is fully committed to the diversity and internationality
of contemporary dance. Various ambitious international guest choreographers create
new pieces for the company and offer dancers the chance to experience an extraordinary
variety of choreographic styles and to dance an unusually wide repertoire.

→ CV, Headshot, Short Motivation Letter (1 page)
→ Video links (links only, no video files as email attachment):
→ uncut / unedited video of a 2 to 4 minute improvisation
→ a video featuring theatrical skills with voice sample
→ show reel, if available
→ performance footage, if available

Participation in the audition is only possible with an invitation.

Dancers should be available for the entirety of the audition.

Times will be determined later and a schedule sent out following our invitation.
