Audition season 2023-2024

Requirements:

-High level in ballet and contemporary

-Be 18-23 years old

-European citizen

Video showing :

-A short classical barre

-Some center exercises

-Classical variation

-Modern movement to show how your body is capable of moving

We will reply to you after we have received all of the applications in order to make our decision. More details and information will be sent to you, after we receive your application. The audition will be online.

Europa Danse Company is a unique junior ballet of 12 dancers, which aims at preparing dancers aged between 18 and 23 for their first professional experience. Our formation of 2 years is based on the development of the artistic personality, the exploration of individual creative skills and the opportunity to work on a varied repertoire and creations from established choreographers as : Marco Goecke, William Forsythe, Ricardo Amarant, Jacopo Godani, Julian Nicosia, Thierry Malandain,  Laurent Drousie.

The intention is therefore to place dancers in a real professional practice situation before they start their career. Most of the dancers who previously took part in the Europa Danse Company experience during the last season were able to sign a contract with major companies. They now have joined the “Ballet du Capitole” in Toulouse, “Ballet de Turin”, the Washington Ballet, Introdans in The Netherlands, the “Compañía Nacional de Danza España”, the Nice Opera Ballet… Please note that Europa Danse Company is a professional training programme and its access is therefore payable.
